Your personal data matters. This Privacy Policy explains exactly what information sabet collects from players in the Philippines, why we collect it, how it is used and protected, who it may be shared with, and what rights you have under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012.
Six core commitments that define how sabet handles your personal information. These are not aspirations — they are the operating standards built into the platform and its processes.
sabet operates in full compliance with Republic Act 10173 — the Data Privacy Act of 2012 — and its Implementing Rules and Regulations. sabet is registered with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) as required for personal information controllers processing the volume of data handled by a licensed gaming platform.
All personal data transmitted between your browser or mobile device and sabet's servers is encrypted using TLS/SSL 256-bit encryption — the same standard used by Philippine banks and financial institutions. Data at rest in sabet's infrastructure is stored using AES-256 encryption with access controls limited to authorized personnel only.
sabet does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for commercial marketing or advertising purposes. Data sharing is limited to what is necessary for platform operations, regulatory compliance, payment processing, and fraud prevention — all as described in this Privacy Policy.
As a data subject under the Philippine Data Privacy Act, you have specific, enforceable rights regarding your personal information held by sabet — including the right to access, correct, delete, and port your data. sabet maintains a Data Privacy Officer and a process for handling data subject requests within the timeframes mandated by Philippine law.
sabet collects personal data for specific, clearly defined purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. Your data will not be used for purposes incompatible with those stated without your renewed consent or a lawful basis recognized under the Data Privacy Act. Purpose limitation is a core principle of sabet's data governance framework.
In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in risk to your rights and freedoms, sabet is committed to notifying the National Privacy Commission within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, and to notifying affected data subjects without undue delay, in accordance with NPC Circular 16-03.
1.1 This Privacy Policy applies to all personal data processed by sabet in connection with the sabet platform at sabet.bio, including all games, account services, payment processing, customer support interactions, marketing communications, and any other services provided by sabet to players in the Philippines.
1.2 sabet is the personal information controller as defined under Section 3(h) of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173). sabet controls the means and purposes of the processing of personal data collected through the platform and is responsible for ensuring that such processing complies with Philippine data privacy law.
1.3 sabet operates under a PAGCOR license. Some data processing activities described in this Policy are carried out to satisfy sabet's obligations as a PAGCOR-licensed operator, including KYC identity verification, AML transaction monitoring, and responsible gaming reporting. These activities represent instances where data processing is required by law and does not require your separate consent.
1.4 This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, payment providers, or social media platforms that may be accessible via the sabet platform. Each third-party service has its own privacy policy and you are encouraged to review those policies independently.
2.1 sabet collects the following categories of personal data from players. The specific data collected in each category depends on how you use the platform and the stage of your account journey:
| Data Category | Examples | When Collected |
|---|---|---|
| Identity Data | Full legal name, date of birth, nationality, government ID number (UMID, SSS, GSIS, passport, driver's license, PhilSys), photograph from ID document | KYC verification; required before first withdrawal |

| Financial Data | GCash wallet number, Maya account number, bank account name and number (BPI, BDO, Metrobank), transaction amounts, deposit and withdrawal history | Payment processing; AML compliance |
| Gaming Activity Data | Games played, wagers placed, wins and losses, session durations, bonus usage, betting history, responsible gaming tool activations | Continuous during platform use |

| Communications Data | Live chat transcripts, Messenger and Viber message content, email correspondence, support ticket records | When you contact sabet support |
| Marketing Preferences | Communication channel preferences, opt-in and opt-out records for SMS, email, and in-platform notifications | Account registration and preference updates |
2.2 sabet does not collect sensitive personal information as defined under Section 3(l) of the Data Privacy Act — such as health, religious, political, or biometric data — unless specifically required by law (for example, biometric data that may appear incidentally on a government-issued ID submitted for KYC purposes).
2.3 Where you choose not to provide personal data that is required for a specific purpose — such as KYC documentation required before withdrawal — sabet will be unable to complete that function. Non-provision of mandatory data does not affect your ability to use other aspects of the platform for which that data is not required.
3.1 sabet processes personal data on one or more of the following lawful bases recognized under the Data Privacy Act of 2012:
3.2 Where sabet relies on legitimate interests as the lawful basis for processing, a legitimate interests assessment has been conducted to confirm that your interests and rights are not overridden. You may request details of this assessment from the sabet Data Privacy Officer.
4.1 sabet uses the personal data it collects for the following purposes:
5.1 sabet does not sell, rent, or trade personal data. Sharing of personal data is limited to the following categories of recipients and circumstances:
sabet shares financial transaction data with payment processors including GCash (Globe Fintech Innovations, Inc.), Maya (PayMaya Philippines, Inc.), and banking partners (BPI, BDO, Metrobank) as necessary to process deposits and withdrawals. These processors receive only the minimum data required to complete the relevant transaction and are contractually bound by data processing agreements consistent with Philippine law.
sabet's game library includes titles from third-party providers including Pragmatic Play, PG Soft, and others. Technical data necessary to deliver game services — such as session tokens and wager data — is shared with these providers. Game providers do not receive your identity or contact data unless required for the specific technical integration.
sabet discloses personal data to PAGCOR, the AMLC, the National Privacy Commission, and other competent Philippine government agencies where required by law, PAGCOR licensing conditions, or in response to a lawful order. sabet will endeavour to notify you of any disclosure to authorities where it is legally permitted to do so, but may be legally prohibited from providing such notification in certain circumstances.
sabet's legal counsel, auditors, and other professional advisers may receive personal data on a confidential basis as necessary for the provision of their services to sabet. These parties process data as personal information processors under binding confidentiality and data processing agreements.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of sabet's assets, personal data may be transferred to the acquirer as part of that transaction. In such circumstances, sabet will notify registered players via their registered contact details and provide information about how their data will be handled post-transfer.
6.1 sabet uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the sabet.bio platform. Cookies are small text files placed on your device by the sabet platform that help the platform function correctly, remember your preferences, and understand how players use the service.
6.2 sabet uses the following categories of cookies:
6.3 You can manage cookie settings through your browser's privacy settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will impair the functionality of the sabet platform. sabet does not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies for commercial advertising network purposes.
7.1 sabet retains personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable Philippine law. The following retention periods apply to the main categories of data processed by sabet:
7.2 Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, personal data is securely deleted or anonymised in a manner that prevents re-identification. Where data must be retained beyond the standard period due to specific legal proceedings or regulatory requirements, sabet will document the extension and the basis for it.
8.1 sabet implements appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, and destruction. These measures include:
8.2 While sabet implements industry-standard security measures, no online platform can guarantee absolute security. Players are also responsible for their account security — including maintaining strong, unique passwords and not sharing login credentials with third parties. The availability of two-factor authentication (2FA) on sabet accounts is strongly recommended and can be enabled through account settings.
8.3 In the event of a personal data breach that poses a risk to your rights, sabet will notify the National Privacy Commission within 72 hours of detection and will notify affected data subjects without undue delay, in accordance with the NPC's breach notification requirements.
9.1 Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations, you have the following rights as a data subject with respect to personal data processed by sabet:
You have the right to be informed of what personal data sabet collects about you, how it is used, and with whom it is shared — which this Policy provides.
You have the right to request a copy of the personal data sabet holds about you. sabet will respond to verified access requests within 15 business days.
You have the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data. Corrections to account details can be requested through sabet support.
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data where it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to sabet's legal retention obligations under PAGCOR and AMLA requirements.
You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, and to transmit it to another data controller where technically feasible.
You have the right to object to processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes at any time. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests where your personal circumstances warrant.
10.1 The sabet platform is strictly for adults aged 21 years and older, in accordance with PAGCOR regulations. sabet does not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 21.
10.2 Age verification is conducted as part of the KYC process required before withdrawal access is granted on sabet. Where sabet becomes aware that personal data of a person under 21 years of age has been collected, that data will be deleted and the associated account will be permanently closed, with any deposited funds returned to the original payment source where feasible.
10.3 If you believe that a person under 21 years of age has registered on sabet, please contact sabet's Data Privacy Officer or support team immediately so appropriate action can be taken in accordance with PAGCOR requirements and the Data Privacy Act.
11.1 Some of sabet's technical service providers and game studios may be located outside of the Philippines. Where personal data is transferred to a country outside the Philippines in connection with these service relationships, sabet ensures that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with Section 21 of the Data Privacy Act and applicable NPC issuances on cross-border data flows.
11.2 Safeguards used for cross-border transfers include contractual clauses that impose data protection obligations on the receiving party equivalent to those required under Philippine data privacy law. sabet does not transfer personal data to countries that the NPC has identified as providing inadequate data protection without additional safeguards.
11.3 Where cross-border data transfers occur, the minimum data necessary for the specific purpose is transferred. Identity and financial data is processed primarily within Philippine-hosted infrastructure where possible.
12.1 sabet reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in applicable Philippine data privacy law, PAGCOR regulatory requirements, sabet's data processing activities, or best practices in data governance.
12.2 Material changes to this Privacy Policy will be communicated to registered players via the contact details held in their sabet account with a minimum of 14 days' notice before taking effect. The "Effective Date" at the top of this document reflects the date of the most recent version currently in force.
12.3 The current version of this Privacy Policy is always accessible on the sabet platform. Continued use of the sabet platform after the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes your acknowledgment of the updated terms. If you do not agree to a material change, you should stop using the platform and may close your account by contacting sabet support.
13.1 In accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and NPC Circular 17-01, sabet has designated a Data Privacy Officer (DPO) responsible for overseeing the platform's compliance with Philippine data privacy law, handling data subject rights requests, and serving as the primary point of contact with the National Privacy Commission.
13.2 To contact sabet's Data Privacy Officer for any privacy-related inquiry, data subject rights request, or complaint, use the following contact details:
13.3 sabet will acknowledge all data privacy inquiries within 3 business days and provide a substantive response within 15 business days, in accordance with the NPC's prescribed timeframe for responding to data subject requests.
13.4 If you are not satisfied with sabet's response to your data privacy inquiry or complaint, you have the right to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines (NPC). The NPC is the government authority responsible for administering and enforcing the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
